Save those baby food and applesauce pouch caps! 🍎🍓

🍋🍌 Turns out the tiny caps that normally migrate under your couch can become a surprisingly fun learning activity.

These colorful 3D-printed fruit boards are designed to work with compatible screw-on caps from baby food and applesauce pouches. Kids can twist the caps on and off the pegs, match colors, sort them, count them, and practice important fine motor skills while they play.

Great for practicing:

Fine motor skills through twisting, grasping, and manipulating the caps

Hand-eye coordination as children line up caps with the posts

Bilateral coordination by holding the board while twisting with the other hand

Finger and hand strength used for writing, dressing, and everyday tasks

• Color recognition & sorting
• Counting & early math skills
• Patterns and sequencing
• Matching & visual discrimination
• Problem solving and concentration
• Independent, screen-free play

Use caps you already have to create different activities.

Ask your child to find all the red caps, make a repeating color pattern, count how many fit on each fruit, or race to fill an entire board.
